Early Childhood Educators in Gothenburg 2020-2021.

Early Childhood Educators in Gothenburg 2020-2021.

With joy, Learn to Move continues to participate as an educator in the Early Childhood Educator Training this fall, focusing on the first three foundational years of a child’s life. This time, the course is held in Gothenburg, and Helena Lindfors, who is responsible for the training, has recently published the book “De yngsta barnens läroplan” (The Curriculum for the Youngest Children) together with Ann Granberg and Camilla Carlberg. The authors highlight the needs and perspectives of the youngest children and call for a curriculum for the very youngest, as the brain develops significantly and is sensitive during this time. They describe, among other things, how attachment to educators is fundamental for security and trust, both in oneself and in the children. It will be exciting and enjoyable to work together with the education coordinator Helena Lindfors.

Training on motor skills for Child Health Centers (BVC) and child healthcare POSTPONED due to Corona.

Motor development for the very youngest is incredibly important for the overall development of the child. Now Expo Medica’s full-day event on motor development is returning to Stockholm on April 28th. During this full-day training, you will learn about current issues and how to support children and parents for positive development. Especially the newborn period up to 3 months is crucial for a good start and avoiding common issues. The course addresses, for example, WHY tummy time is crucial, when it should be initiated, and when head control should be programmed to be completed.
