This lecture is for parent groups, interest organizations and others interested in learning about special challenges. You learn basic concepts and get inspiration and expectations of development and learning

Basic neurological concepts

Time: 2 hours
Target group: Physical therapists, physicians, occupational therapists and researchers
Prior knowledge: Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, neurology, orthopedics

How do you define muscle tone, balance and coordination? Is spasticity a symptom or the problem itself? Which factors are most important for function? Here you will learn more about basic conditions for movement.

Sitting and sitting positions

Time: 2 hours
Target group: Physical therapists, occupational therapists and those interested in ergonomics
Prior knowledge: Basic knowledge of anatomy


At all ages and with varying abilities, people sit. Here you will learn about mechanical and neurological factors in the human body and partly how the design of seating furniture affects function.
