SAS - Sitting assessment scale
The PhD thesis "On factors of importance for sitting in children with cerebral palsy" included creating "Sitting assessment scale" (SAS) which is an evaluation method for judgement of sitting ability by analyzing head, trunk and foot control and also arm and hand function. Sitting assessment scale has been considered the best method for assessing sitting ability in children with cerebral palsy. It is tested for reliability and compared to other measurement methods. SAS has been used in many research studies concerning sitting ability when disabled.
